Dear Friends and Supporters,

 

I sincerely want to thank each and every one of you who delivered astonishingly during this challenging election!

 

You incessantly called registered voters; canvassed neighborhoods; stood out at polling places in the wind and rain; attended candidate forums; forwarded emails or phoned friends; initiated calling posts; and, you contributed financially to our campaign. And when we ran out of signs, you helped us make more signs! YOU ARE AWESOME!

 

It was your hard work, dedication, prayers and support that resulted in such an overwhelming 72% victory in this Tuesday's run-off! 

 

A special thank you to my husband, Darryl for his dedication to the cause as he acted as spouse, father and campaign manager in this special endeavor.

 

I know this was just the beginning of the hard work to come. I will continue to strive for excellence for our children; and to make DeKalb County Schools a system we can all be proud of.
